A cross-channel expert (without stepping foot on a single ferry) Kelly works with Kerry to deliver media-neutral, cross channel thinking for all of The Gate’s clients – along with expertly choosing and buying media for our media-only clients.
EURO RSCG WNEK GOSPER... not only a triple word score in Scrabble, but the first stop in Jamie’s 18-year advertising career. He then went on to become Managing Director at DLKW Lowe. And latterly, CEO at MullenLowe London.
There’s no ‘I’ in Martyn… but there is 18 years’ design and advertising experience, an eagle-eye for craft, and an unquenchable love of golf. Whatever the brief, however big or small, Martyn’s goal is to always tell a simple story, well.
Chief Strategy Officer
Planner, change agent (and occasional DJ!) Kit leads The Gate’s strategic output, combining smarts, psychology and behavioural science. A passionate advocate for workplace culture that blends high-performance and happiness, she led the design of our Gang Laws and much more. D&AD Creative Masterclass Leader, Trustee of charity Awamu, and co-founder of a community cinema, it’s a wonder Kit has the time to amass her epic shoe collection.
HEAD OF MEDIA
Avid traveller (and occasional flight-misser) Kerry’s called digital media ‘home’ for the past 17 years, working across numerous high-profile travel, finance, auto, FMCG, QSR and retail brands. In the last five, Kerry’s been broadening her skills – taking a more rounded view to include cross-channel comms.
He wanted a picture with his plants, but sadly we couldn’t get them all in the studio. Rickie likes to challenge the medium with his advertising. Usually found baking or singing, one of these John loves, the other not so much.
Pasta addict and ‘80s pop-culture enthusiast, Sophie’s the account team’s right-hand woman. After completing a (very rainy!) degree in Lancashire, she’s looking forward to putting her love of linguistics and consumer psychology to good use. No task too big or too small, her priority is making things run smoothly.

Part planner, part MAMIL Piers brings with him over 20 years’ experience developing brand and communication strategies for multinational clients. Insightful, passionate, results-focused – and pretty darn fast on two wheels.
Usually found thinking about briefs. The paper kind. John was bitten by the advertising bug when he starred in an ad as a kid.
Which was thankfully pre-YouTube. He loves wearing black and mixing metaphors.
Unperturbed by unpredictable weather, Camille moved from the US to the UK back in 2000. 19 years, and not a whisper of a British accent later, and Camille’s a Business Director – looking after The Gate’s clients across the globe.
From Necker Island to sunny Tottenham Court Road, Ash’s glittering career has seen him work for Virgin, Nobu – and, for the last 12 years, MSQ Partners. Since 2011 he’s been taking care of finance here at The Gate.
Peruvian, British, Swiss... Not content with one passport, Mark’s collected three. Along with being thoroughly international, Mark looks after IT at The Gate. With over 30 years’ experience, there ain’t a problem he can’t fix.
Don’t offer Sam a meat pie when you see him at the next Man United game (and you will). Vegetarian, avid football fan and Account Director, Sam looks after existing and prospective clients at The Gate with limitless enthusiasm.
The go-to Paprika problem-solver who often goes by one of his many aliases (Surgeon, Sergio, Sargent, Nicola Sturgeon). Srdjan brings a calm and collected approach to dealing with clients and suppliers, staying on top of his many inboxes, and supporting Ash and Sam, to keep the finance department running like clockwork.
COMMS PLANNING MANAGER
It’s a good thing that curiosity only kills the cat, with 6 years in the industry to date across a blend of DR and Brand clients. Sam cut her teeth on offline, but interest in the digital landscape has lead to a cross-channel approach to planning. Figuring how the user journey and business challenge fits together is what keeps her ticking.
Yes, that is actually Hugo’s real name as opposed to a comedy nom-de-plume. Although he remains bitter, it hasn’t yet affected him during his 17-year advertising career, whose highlight so far has been squeezing Usain Bolt into a floral dress.
LEAD CREATIVE PRODUCER
Foodie, cyclist, art-lover and yogi (not as in bear) we’d like you to meet George, our ever-so-flexible Lead Creative Producer. Along with organising creative resource day-to-day, George also takes care of production, on projects large and small.
FRONT OF HOUSE
Second only to vodka, Karolina is Poland’s best-loved export. One of the first friendly faces you’ll see when you visit us at The Gate – Karolina makes sure everything in the office runs smoothly, day in, day out.
CREATIVE SERVICES DIRECTOR
When he isn't shredding Slayer on his guitar, Robin puts his 20+ years of experience in creative services to good use within the agency – making sure work gets delivered on brief, on time and on budget.
CEO AT D&AD & CHAIRMAN AT THE GATE WORLDWIDE
Sharp as a pencil, Tim has spent 36 years in advertising, holding prestigious positions at BBH, Y&R London, Lowe Worldwide, Publicis UK and TBWA. Today he’s the CEO of design awards show and education charity, D&AD and The Gate Worldwide.
Preparing mock-ups and preventing muck-ups is our Pre-press Manager of 25 years, Paul. He started his career in a pre-Mac era, allowing him to develop drawing board skills he still uses to this day – from presentations to intricate mock-ups.
HEAD OF ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
Much like Clark Kent, Ed is only recognisable with his glasses on. In this, Head of Account Management mode, Ed is responsible for maintaining a high standard of client service at The Gate. Without them, he’s a squash-playing, pub-quiz-smashing Superman.
When not refereeing two little budding footballers at home, Sam’s busy running the numbers at The Gate – keeping a close eye on revenue and work in progress. (No red flags here!)
If owners do indeed look like their dogs, Claire is in deep trouble. Always followed by her trusty sidekick, Doug, you’ll find her creating concepts, and crafting both long and short copy, for an array of The Gate’s clients.
CHIEF CANINE OFFICER
Prolific bin-dipper and furry stress ball, Doug’s been ‘working’ in advertising for nearly a decade. Recognise his face? You’ve probably seen him on the cover of Luerzer’s Archive, as part of their award-winning ‘Untouchable Covers’ campaign.
Thanks to his love of fashion, fine wine, and striped tops, you’d be forgiven for thinking Blake is French! Au contraire, born in sunny, sunny Wendover, he’s one of The Gate’s chicest Account Managers - working on Organix, Chiltern Railways, and more.
COMMUNICATIONS PLANNING DIRECTOR
Muna stumbled into media planning almost a decade ago, and has since planned media for clients across tourism, finance and FinTech. When she’s not wrestling with channel plans, she’s teaching spin, circuits and fitness classes. Someday, she’ll convince the rest of The Gate to join her on a bike at 6am

‘Good value’ is how her best friend describes her, and we think she's hit the nail on the head! Vicky’s equally happy pottering with her family in the Home Counties, as she is in London, leading our client services team. Vicky brings 15 years’ experience across FMCG, retail, Financial Services and Government, alongside her unparalleled zeal.
Famed for her accidental hilarity, Hannah is an art director with the quirky magnetic draw of a young Iris Apfel… and her body of work is just as bold and colourful. When not at the office she can be spotted chasing the last rays of sun with her rabbit Jelly in tow.
We call her Allison ‘never drops the’ Ball, partly because it annoys her, but mainly because it’s true. She brings over 20 years of experience to the creative department, and an enviable array of skills. An award-winning designer, illustrator and typographer, it’s hard to keep up with The Gate London’s craft queen.
A kind of city-locked pirate, Beth is a creative copywriter whose literary passion is fuelled by Diet Coke and cider. When she’s not musing on a brief, she’s out filling Instagram with nature photography from the concrete jungle.
Convinced that she was Italian in a former life due to her unhealthy love of Italian food, Georgia’s spent the last three years in the industry, working across a number of different sectors - from cars and retail, to charities. Now, here at The Gate, she’s keen to work on plenty more!

Frequently described as Mark from Peep Show, Cam is on hand to assist on all things media. In his spare time he reminisces about his fleeting American football career, tries to improve his chess rating, and wonders why his memory is so full of relatively useless pub quiz information.
